On May 18, the Kashgar Regional Media Center became a new member of the Media Alliance of the China Pilot Free Trade Zone, which injected new vitality into Kashgar's efforts to promote the development of media integration and expand its international communication influence.

On December 7, 2015, the Media Alliance of China Pilot Free Trade Zone, initiated by Oriental Finance and Economics Pudong Channel, was established in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. As of November 2018, there are 20 provincial, municipal and local-level TV media units in the China Pilot Free Trade Zone Media Alliance, including 3 satellite TV platforms.

The media alliance of the China Pilot Free Trade Zone is a reform and innovation in the field of media, the media alliance gives full play to the advantages of the media's large amount of information and professional team, becomes a think tank of the national pilot free trade zone, and does a good job in publicizing the achievements of the construction of the pilot free trade zone, conducts deeper follow-up reports, and allows more enterprises and the public to understand the reform of the pilot free trade zone. The media alliance has established a media linkage mechanism, strengthened content cooperation among various media, and initiated joint media actions to enhance the influence of publicity and reporting in the pilot free trade zone.

On November 11, 2023, the Kashgar Area of the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone was officially established, bringing new development opportunities to the Kashgar region. The Kashgar Regional Media Center has joined the China Free Trade Zone Media Alliance, which will provide a strong public opinion guarantee capacity for the development of the Kashgar area. Through the platform of the alliance, we will give full play to the influence and communication power of the media, report on various policies, development trends and achievements of the Kashgar area in depth, show the unique charm and development potential of Kashgar to the outside world, and attract more investment and attention.

The Kashgar Area of the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone was officially unveiled.
