On the evening of October 11, as a tribute to the 64th anniversary of the celebration and the 40th anniversary of the Law School, the masterplay "Qiu Shaoheng" was once again performed in the Lecture Hall 507 of the Graphic Information Building, Songjiang Campus, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. Professor Zhou Hanmin, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, former Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic National Construction Association, former Vice Chairman of the Shanghai City CPPCC, and Professor Qiu Shaoheng's first graduate student, Professor Qiu Shaoheng's daughter Qiu Bin, and representatives of teachers and students watched the performance.

"Qiu Shaoheng" is the first original masterplay of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. It premiered in 2020 as an important event and tribute to the school's 60th anniversary. This year, as a support project for the integration of culture and education in Shanghai City, the school invited the original master drama creation team to re-organize the master drama. Professor Lu Jun, a famous screenwriter of the Shanghai Theater Academy, served as the artistic director, Professor Huang Xi served as the screenwriter, and directed by Zhao Yi, a new generation director born in the 1990s. Wang Ya, a drama education trainer, served as the producer, and 32 students served as cast members.

"After returning to my alma mater four years later, I went from the lead actor of a master drama to an ordinary audience. I was still deeply moved after watching the performance. The master drama was successfully performed again. When I saw the master Qiu Shaoheng played by my junior brother Chen Yunfei, I saw the master spirit passed down among the students." said Chen Yihang, a 2022 alumnus of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and actor of Professor Qiu Shaoheng in the 2020 master drama "Qiu Shaoheng".

Shen Sixian, a master's degree graduate of the 2024 International Economic Law, lamented after watching the master drama: "Professor Qiu Shaoheng is the founder of the International Economic Law Law and the master's program. My mentor, Professor Zhou Hanmin, is Qiu Lao's first graduate student and the first dean of the law school. This has strengthened me to follow the path pioneered by our legal predecessors such as Professor Qiu and Professor Zhou, carry forward and practice the spirit of the master, and be a good legal scholar in the new era."

In recent years, major universities in Shanghai have competed to launch "master dramas" based on the emergence of famous artists, famous teachers and celebrities in their schools.
